TIME TO TAIL A STORY
With a new addition in our family circle, know that all rest easy and find time to relax. Not everyone would take on the challenge like this. These were the first babies to find a forever home.

TOO COOL TO BE CRUEL
TOO COOL TO BE CRUEL would you consider this face safe? Pit Bulls have a terrible reputation in the media. Granted they are a strong bred that has been used for illegal activities in our culture. Pit owners would disagree with the way people view these dogs. Any large dog has the strength and power to cause damage so early training and socialization is important to own any large dog.

Shelters Need Your Help
Hurricane season 2021 has displaced many people and their pets. We all struggle to make things right. Fostering a pet until owners can be located can take the burden off local shelters which may not have enough space or volunteers.

WARNING...NOT MY DOG
EVER FOUND A DOG IN A HOT CAR?
Never think that I did not understand that saving a dog from a car would lead to a big legal mess. I have lived with this experience for a long time and still find it shocking that people continue to leave their pets in their vehicles. I was prompted to save a dog in the summer heat many years ago only to find myself in trouble. Not only was I assaulted by the owner after returning the dog, but found myself in legal trouble...it seems that I broke the law. Pets are considered property and my actions led me to court. Charges were dropped but continue to show up on the internet as public record.

MAYBE YOUR BEST FRIEND
KENNELS & CRATES are necessary for transporting your pet safely. Dragging your pet to the vet on a leash is a challenge for many. Open wire kennels are good for indoor use when your house needs service and technicians have to enter your home. Often pets get nervous when strangers enter the home and with good training will find it their safe place. Crates are for smaller pets and large ones if your pet travels on an airline. In an emergency, when you have to evacuate your home due to storms (hurricanes), this will lessen their anxiety. Easy to set up, clean and wire kennels will lay flat when not in use.
