Found, Saved, Loved |
The lost and found of the Humane Society are left with "at risk" dogs that never seem to have a chance to be adopted. Searching for a dog on adoption and rescue sites often stall the process making me prove that I am worthy of a pet. Specific breeds such as labradors, golden retrievers, shelties among others are quickly removed from local agencies with a higher price on their heads with a vetting process that is worse than apply for a job. I had dogs my whole life but today it seems the rescue organizations hinders adoption of many dogs. Foster, rescue has it's place but at what cost to all?
